Dating from the 13th century, they are among the best preserved in Spain, with their vaulted rooms, intimate alcoves and brick columns. Behind it lie majestic bullrings built in 1785, among the most beautiful in Spain\u2014and perhaps also the largest, with a diameter of 66 meters.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To visit the bullring and its 136 Tuscan columns, you&#8217;ll need to pay the entry fee for the Museo Taurino. We chose to visit it first because it provides access to the arenas. But also to better understand the place of the culture of bullfighting, that ancestral tradition of Spain consisting of a fight between a man, called a torero or toreador, and a bull. It is a practice that has been criticized.
