New Year in Cordoba
Celebrating New Year’s Eve in Cordoba is a unique experience combining tradition and festivity. Take the opportunity to dine with family and friends in one of the city’s best restaurants (article to come). At midnight, tradition dictates that 12 grapes are eaten to the rhythm of the 12 strokes of midnight to bring good luck in the New Year. The Plaza de las Tendillas is the main gathering place, where Cordoba residents come together to share the moment. After the midnight celebrations, the party continues in the bars and clubs of the city center, where the festive atmosphere lasts until the early hours of the morning. The next day, we recommend enjoying hot chocolate with churros, a New Year’s tradition enjoyed throughout Spain.
