Where to stay in Ronda: best districts
Why stay in Ronda?
Although Ronda can be visited in a day, we recommend spending at least one night here to enjoy the calm atmosphere of this touristy town. You’ll thank us when you’re the only one admiring the city in the early morning!
Staying overnight will also give you the opportunity to take your time, as the city is full of nuggets to visit: read our article on the subject.

Staying in Ronda
The town of Ronda is quite small, so all you have to do is choose between..:
- The very authentic Ciudad (Old Town) district, where most of the museums are located, but which becomes very quiet in the evening.
- The more modern El Mercadillo (New Town) district, with its concentration of restaurants and boutiques. The atmosphere is livelier in the evening, even if the city remains rather quiet for Spain.

Alternatively, if you’ve got a little time to disconnect, we’d like to recommend that you choose accommodation outside the city. Indeed, the Serranía de Ronda is such an unspoilt, magnificent and contrasting landscape that it would be a shame to miss out. For an authentic, immersive experience in nature, we recommend accommodation in the countryside around Ronda.

Other useful tips to keep in mind
If you come by car, choose hotels with parking! Indeed, parking in the city center is quite difficult, given the narrow streets and scarce spaces.
We strongly advise you to book your hotels in advance, especially during the peak spring season. There’s also a peak in the first week of September during the Pedro Romero fair, when prices soar.
Please note that the criteria for awarding stars to hotels vary from country to country.
You should also be aware that most tourist accommodations are in old buildings. Lovers of authenticity will be delighted! But if you prefer more modern, luxurious accommodation, we recommend you look at the hotels in big cities like Malaga or Sevilla, and include Ronda in your excursions.
RENT A CAR IN Andalucia

- Book early for choice.

1. Hotel Cortijo LA Organic (10min from Ronda)

Why stay there?
Nestled in the heart of the Andalucia countryside, this hotel alone could justify your visit to Ronda – it’s so unforgettable! First of all, we appreciated the idyllic setting: the old 19th-century building, restored by Stefano Robotti of the Philippe STARCK studio, is set in an estate surrounded by olive trees and vines as far as the eye can see.
Secondly, we loved the simple luxury and comfort of the rooms, reminiscent of the rustic charm of traditional Andalucia houses. But it is above all the ethical approach that makes this exceptional place so famous. Here, everything is designed to respect the environment: from the permaculture vegetable garden to the natural products we use to welcome guests, not forgetting the eco-friendly activities, we’ve recharged our batteries to the rhythm of nature.
