Family-friendly hotels in Sevilla
Even if Sevilla doesn’t offer the profusion of resorts and specialized services usually found in some Andalucia seaside resorts, the city does boast some good family-friendly hotels. Here you’ll find comfortable addresses in the historic center, making it easy to explore the Alcazar or the Cathedral on foot. As well as in quieter neighborhoods like Triana, sometimes with a refreshing pool or spacious family rooms. Andalucia’s warm welcome and friendly atmosphere more than make up for the lack of kids’ clubs or entertainment. This should help the whole family enjoy a pleasant vacation.
1. Apparthotel Aquitania Home Suites (4 stars)

Why stay there?
What struck us as we entered our apartment at Aquitania Home Suites was its size! We had plenty of space, both in the comfortable living room and in the spacious bathroom with its walk-in shower. The modern decor, featuring natural materials such as wood and rattan, really appealed to us. This was particularly true of the kitchen, which was both functional and contemporary. Well-equipped, it featured a wide range of utensils for cooking just as easily as at home! On the table we had fruit and pastries for breakfast. If you want to feel right at home, choose this aparthotel. Don’t forget to cool off in the rooftop pool!

2. Radisson Collection Hotel Magdalena Plaza Sevilla (5 stars)

Why stay there?
This establishment is located in the center of Sevilla, on the pleasant Plaza Magdalena. It offers an elegant setting for your stay. The decor, with its skilful blend of sobriety and deep, vivid colors, made a lasting impression on us. It featured furniture with clean lines. In addition to its aesthetic qualities, the hotel boasts a wide range of facilities, including a business center, outdoor pool and gym. But it’s his restaurant that makes him so famous. Helmed by chef Eneko Atxa Azurmendi, the restaurant’s revisited Basque cuisine has earned it a place in the Michelin Guide. You can find it in our list of the best restaurants to eat in Sevilla!

3. Hotel Casa del Poeta (4 stars)

Why stay there?
We had trouble finding this hotel, hidden away in a very narrow alley in the old town. Who would have thought that this modest façade houses a spacious establishment with a magnificent Sevillian patio? And yet it is! If you like traditional Andalusian style, we recommend this accommodation for your stay! You won’t be disappointed, with the cathedral only 250m away! Despite its proximity to Sevilla’s major tourist attractions, the environment is calm. This adds to the magic of the place at nightfall, when the patio’s orange facades turn red with the lighting. Terrace, library, massage parlour – everything you need for a relaxing stay!

4. Apparthotel Numa Prestigio Apartments (4 stars)

Why stay there?
Behind this sublime façade lies an aparthotel that will not leave you indifferent. As far as we’re concerned, we were won over by its interior design. Unlike most Sevilla accommodation, the furniture is simple, uncluttered and contemporary, with a few touches of color on specific elements (headboards, cushions…). The kitchens are large, modern and well-equipped. Breakfast can be ordered. We weren’t disappointed by the common areas: the rooftop hides a pleasant terrace and a small swimming pool open all year round. The best part? A view of Maria Luisa Park and the Plaza de España.

5. Hotel Alfonso XIII (5 stars)

Why stay there?
This hotel is a must in Sevilla. It was built at the request of King Alfonso XIII, who reigned in Spain from 1886 to 1931. The aim was to build Europe’s most luxurious palace in the context of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition. The aim of the exhibition was to demonstrate the bonds of brotherhood between Spain, Portugal, Brazil, the United States and Latin America. We loved the establishment’s traditional neo-Mudejar style, featuring azulejos and marquetry ceilings. There’s a bar, two restaurants, a lush garden and a large outdoor swimming pool. Why not relax afterwards in the hotel’s fitness center, which includes a gym, sauna and massage room?

6. Hotel Colon Gran Melia (5 stars)

Why stay there?
Looking for a luxurious experience in Sevilla? The Hotel Colon Gran Melia is for you! It offers a wide range of facilities for a relaxing stay. Its main attraction is the Clarins wellness area, with sauna, spa, steam room, massage room, gym and beauty services. To complete the experience, you can take a dip in the rooftop infinity pool, open all year round. We also recommend that you take advantage of the establishment’s two restaurants, which offer dishes suitable for vegetarian and/or gluten-free diets. The spacious rooms are just as comfortable as the common areas. Be sure to look up and admire the magnificent glass roof in the great hall!

7. Hotel Torre Sevilla (5 stars)

Why stay there?
Although this hotel’s location is a little off the beaten track from the city center (25min walk from the cathedral), we think it deserves a place in this selection. In fact, it’s the tallest building in Andalucia. Its 13th floor offers a superb view of Sevilla. In harmony with the skyscraper’s architecture, you’ll find sleek, upscale contemporary decor. This is also true of the facilities, from the wellness center (gym, spa, sauna and massage salon) to the panoramic “El Duende” restaurant. The bright rooms also feature large bay windows opening onto the outside. Take the plunge!

8. Hotel H10 Corregidor (3 stars)

Why stay there?
In our opinion, this hotel offers excellent value for money. First of all, the welcome is warm. As soon as we arrived, the staff offered us a glass of sparkling wine while we waited to check in. Secondly, the common areas are well-decorated and pleasant. The reception area features a beautiful display case and charming antique decorative elements. The lounge and dining room are complemented by a pleasant terrace for a snack or a drink at the bar. Although small, there’s an outdoor swimming pool on the roof, surrounded by a solarium. The size of our room was modest, but it was functional and pleasant. Last but not least, we really enjoyed the surrounding area, especially the Alameda de Hércules, where you’ll find some great places to eat, which we’ve listed in a dedicated article.

9. Hotel Cetina (4 stars)

Why stay there?
We were immediately drawn to this hotel in the center of Sevilla, with its sleek, modern facade. We liked the interior just as much, with the use of black and white in the reception area and the beautiful patio. The rooms are rather modern, decorated with geometric wallpaper. The contemporary furniture is very comfortable. If you’re a gourmand, you’ll also find that the quality breakfast is particularly well-stocked. Finally, we find the location of this establishment ideal for those wishing to do a lot of sightseeing. For example, the Cathedral and the Alcazar are only a 10-minute walk away!
