Is the H10 Croma Hotel worth it? Our review
Yes, without hesitation. Hotel H10 Croma is one of our top 10 best hotels in Malaga. An excellent address for a romantic city-break. We particularly appreciated the arty decor throughout the establishment and the rooftop, which offers a 360°C view of Malaga, at sunset and even at night!

Decoration and atmosphere
Hotel H10 Croma is distinguished by its strong artistic identity. Designed by architect Rafael Moneo, the building’s modern geometric façade is an immediate eye-catcher. Inside, the same attention to form and color is evident in every space. The lobby boasts majestic columns, designer furniture and carefully selected works of art. Together, they create a warm ambience, far removed from the coldness sometimes associated with hotels of this standing.

This arty atmosphere extends to the common areas, where even the corridors are adorned with shammy carpets and colorful paintings. Finally, we loved the rooftop, which is also very refined, with its mosaic floor and elegant armchairs.

The room
We were delighted to be upgraded to the Junior Suite! Our spacious, light-filled room immediately won us over with its minimalist decor and artistic touches. We particularly liked the contemporary paintings on the walls and the art catalogs available for consultation.
The little touches that seduced us? Complimentary bottle of cava and chocolates!

But the real attraction of our room was its small private terrace, decorated with colorful mosaics reminiscent of azulejos. From this outdoor space, we enjoyed a beautiful view of Malaga’s rooftops, ideal for a morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day.

The bathroom extends the contemporary spirit of the bedroom. We loved the large walk-in shower, the Rituals toiletries and the bouquet of fresh flowers!
The little detail that makes all the difference? Free toiletries kit (toothbrush, toothpaste, charlotte, comb).

Don’t miss the buffet breakfast at Hotel H10 Croma! You’ll appreciate the variety on offer: freshly baked breads, various pastries (croissants, doughnuts, donuts, banana bread), local charcuterie and cheeses, fresh seasonal fruit.
You can also order local specialties (churros, tortillas, etc.) served fresh!

We appreciated the elegant, refined setting of the breakfast room, bathed in soft light. With always a few paintings to admire.

Equipment and common areas
Hotel H10 Croma has a small, shallow swimming pool on the roof terrace, open all year round. We found this pool perfect for cooling off after a day of sightseeing. The solarium that surrounds the pool is equipped with numerous sun loungers, outdoor sofas and parasols, creating a most pleasant relaxation area.

The hotel’s real trump card is its exceptional rooftop. We loved the 360° panoramic view of Malaga, including the Cathedral and the rooftops of the old town. It becomes magical at sunset, when the city lights begin to sparkle. Also note that a DJ session is available every Sunday from 4:30 to 8:30 pm.

The hotel also offers a gym for travelers wishing to maintain their fitness routine, as well as a tour desk to organize your activities. Conference rooms are also available for business events.

The restoration
The hotel has 3 distinct dining areas. In addition to the breakfast room, you’ll find a La Mondial tapas bar opening directly onto the street, ideal for enjoying a local aperitif in a friendly atmosphere.

There’s also a bar in the lobby, where you can enjoy a drink at any time of day in elegant surroundings. But our favorite is the rooftop, which offers a snack menu during the day and a bistronomic menu in the evening. The cuisine is meticulous, blending Mediterranean influences with contemporary touches. We dined there and enjoyed the fine cuisine as much as the panoramic view. It’s even one of our favourite Malaga addresses!

History
The Hotel H10 Croma was designed by Rafael Moneo, internationally renowned Spanish architect and winner of the 1996 Pritzker Prize. The result is a contemporary building with a bold geometric façade. The project is part of a drive to modernize Malaga’s hotel landscape while respecting the city’s cultural identity. The hotel opens its doors with an experience centered on art and design, asserting its singularity in the Andalucia capital’s accommodation offering.
