Thanks to our practical advice and thematic selection, finding your ideal cocoon is easy. Here’s our selection of the 10 best hotels to stay in Andalucia!

Andalucia’s best museums: tips + map
Andalucia’s diversity is reflected in the richness of its hotel offer.
Beyond the large seaside resorts of the Costa del Sol, the region offers accommodation with a unique charm. You can stay in paradores steeped in history (ancient castles or convents) and authentic cortijos, anchored in white villages. In cities such as Sevilla or Cordoba, the experience takes place in intimate boutique hotels organized around their refreshing patios.
In our opinion, Andalucia hospitality is top-notch, whatever the range. However, the region has two peak periods: spring (for ferias and Holy Week inland) and summer (on the coast). Prices are rising fast, and the best addresses – especially those with terraces or swimming pools, essential in summer – are being snapped up. We therefore recommend that you book as soon as possible.
Here’s a map to help you find your way around Andalucia:

1. Hotel Palacio Solecio (Malaga)

Why stay there?
The Hotel Palacio Solecio is the real highlight of our stay in Malaga, and we recommend it for a night with character. In addition to its excellent location just a 5-minute walk from the Alcazaba and the Cathedral of the Incarnation, this hotel’s finest asset is undoubtedly its refined decor. Nestled in a former 18th-century palace, it retains its historic architecture with wooden beams, marble pillars and iron balustrades, while adorning itself with modern furnishings. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from floor-to-ceiling color harmonies, to the choice of noble materials, to lighting that can be modulated in the room to create different moods.

2. Hotel Cortijo LA Organic (10min from Ronda)

Why stay there?
Nestled in the heart of the Andalucia countryside, theHotel Cortijo La Organic is a truly unforgettable place to come to Ronda! First of all, we appreciated the idyllic setting: the old 19th-century building, restored by Stefano Robotti of the Philippe STARCK studio, is set in an estate surrounded by olive trees and vines as far as the eye can see.
Secondly, we loved the simple luxury and comfort of the rooms, reminiscent of the rustic charm of traditional Andalucia houses. But it is above all the ethical approach that makes this exceptional place so famous. Here, everything is designed to respect the environment: from the permaculture vegetable garden, to the natural welcome products, to the eco-responsible activities, we’ve recharged our batteries to the rhythm of nature.

The height of luxury is to ask for a sea-view room (as we did!) to enjoy the spectacular view over the Bay of Malaga, its azure waters and palm trees.

Why stay there?
Would you like to stay in one of Granada’s iconic hotels? Inaugurated over a century ago in 1905, the Alhambra Palace is a place steeped in history. We liked its style, inspired by the Nasrid architecture of the Alhambra palace, next door to the 5-star establishment. You’ll spend an unforgettable night surrounded by forest and just a 15-minute walk from the central Realejo district. With its refined decor and rich heritage combining Belle Époque ambience and Moorish style, you won’t regret choosing this enchanting place where the interior shines with 1000 lights. Take time to observe the moldings, chandeliers, domes, earthenware and massive carved doors. We fell in love with the zellige mosaics that adorn the walls and floors of the hotel’s common areas, as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms. A true Andalusian symbol of Granada, you’ll also love the romantic setting offered by this exceptional place.

The bathroom, visible from our bedroom thanks to an ingenious sliding partition, added a sophisticated design touch.
