Why stay at Hotel Casas de la Judería?
Hotel Casas de la Judería is an exceptional address for those seeking total immersion in historic Andalucia. Its main assets are:
- Its exceptional location in the heart of the Judería: the Jewish quarter is a veritable labyrinth of narrow streets where Moorish architecture, developed as early as the 10th century under the Umayyads, blends with Jewish influences. The narrow streets, white houses and unique atmosphere of this historic district surround you from the moment you step through the hotel door.

- Authentic traditional Andalusian charm: we were seduced by the many flower-filled patios, soothing fountains and typical architecture that characterize this establishment. Each corner reveals an architectural detail, a fountain or a patio that contributes to creating a unique, relaxing ambience.
- Refreshing outdoor pool: we enjoyed this relaxing area, sheltered from the sun, perfect for cooling off on hot Andalucia days.

Is Hotel Casas de la Judería worth it? Our review
Yes, without hesitation. We were won over by the authenticity of the place, its traditional Andalucia architecture and the richness of its decoration. What’s more, the location is ideal for exploring Cordoba on foot, while enjoying the peace and quiet of the Judería district. Modern facilities, including the Las Termas de Híspalis spa and outdoor pool, add a relaxing dimension to your stay. It’s the perfect address for those looking for accommodation with character.

Decoration and atmosphere
From the moment we arrived at Hotel Casas de la Judería, we were immediately immersed in an atmosphere of another time. Traditional Andalucia decor reigns throughout the establishment, creating an authentic and refined setting. The patios, veritable jewels of local architecture, are adorned with fountains whose gentle murmur of water contributes to the soothing ambience.

We particularly appreciated the richness of the interior décor, with its antique parquet floors, elegant columns, azulejos and sculpted ceilings. Carefully selected period furnishings stand side by side with amphorae and ancient jugs that recall Andalucia’s rich past.

Finally, the old walls, witness to several centuries of history, add to the undeniable charm of the establishment. The whole truly feels like a living museum, where every object and every architectural detail tells a story.

The room
Our Junior Suite perfectly embodied the traditional Andalusian style that characterizes the entire establishment. We were seduced by the headboard’s Moorish-inspired motifs, a decorative detail reminiscent of Andalucia’s rich cultural heritage.

We loved the decor’s choice of a warm yellow monochrome, from the furniture to the curtains! We appreciated the presence of old paintings depicting typical Andalucia scenes, adding a bohemian dimension to our room.

In contrast to the bedroom, our bathroom was much more sober, all in white. The space was well designed and had everything you needed for a pleasant wash.

The breakfast
We haven’t tried the hotel’s breakfast, but we do know that the buffet favors savory products, reflecting Spanish habits. All served with freshly squeezed orange juice!

Equipment and common areas
Hotel Casas de la Judería offers top-quality facilities. We were delighted to find a terrace equipped with two exercise machines, allowing customers to keep up their fitness routine in the fresh air!

The small, unheated outdoor swimming pool, sheltered from the sun, provides a pleasant cool spot, particularly appreciated on hot summer days.

But the real jewel in the crown is Las Termas de Híspalis, a spa adorned with marble tesserae depicting marine gods and animals from Roman times.
The spa features a variety of baths, themed showers and an attractive massage menu!

The restoration
Among the maze of patios, you’ll find plenty of places to unwind. The hotel also offers the Patio de Mudéjar, a snack bar serving typical Andalucia dishes on the terrace. For our part, we preferred the elegant piano bar, ideal for enjoying a convivial evening in a refined atmosphere.

History
The establishment occupies an exceptional complex of 27 Sevillian houses built between the 17th and 18th centuries, all linked by various passageways and patios that create a truly charming labyrinth. Today, this respectful transformation of the city’s heritage allows travelers to stay in a unique architectural ensemble, a true witness to the history of Cordoba.
