Is the El Rincon de Huete apartment worth it? Our review
Yes, the refurbished apartment is bright, functional and comfortable. We found its location ideal, between beaches and cultural activities. The large terrace is a major asset, ideal for dining at home after a day’s sightseeing. The complex meets all the expectations of a successful stay in Almería, offering the autonomy of an apartment while retaining the comfort of well-kept accommodation.
Decoration and atmosphere
The entirely open-plan studio features a light, airy space, with black as the common thread running through the decor. We appreciated this rational organization, which divides the studio apartment into a living room/kitchen area and a bedroom/bathroom area.
Check-in is autonomous, thanks to a code sent by e-mail, as is check-out, guaranteeing simplicity and speed. However, the hosts are always on hand to provide personalized service. One point worth mentioning: there’s a bit of noise in the morning due to the traffic.

The kitchen-living area
The fully-equipped kitchen features a spacious worktop for easy meal preparation. The lounge area features a sofa bed, coffee table and TV.
The best part is undoubtedly the terrace overlooking the rooftops, equipped with a large table for dining outside in peace and quiet.

The room
The bedroom area is pleasantly furnished, with a spacious, comfortable bed to ensure quality rest. We liked the bright beige brick walls, which add a warm touch to the space, complemented by a rattan headboard.
The pretty tropical bed linen and the rest of the modern furniture create a serene and pleasant atmosphere. Opposite the bed, a practical open closet!

The bathroom
The small but functional bathroom includes a shower area with an elegant marble-effect wall, and a separate toilet.
A large washbasin with mirror is located right next to the bed, making daily routines a breeze. The little detail that makes all the difference? absorbent cotton, hand and body soap available.

Equipment and common areas
There are no common areas to relax in, as the building focuses on private housing. We simply noticed an elegant black-and-white service staircase that complements the overall style of the establishment.
Note, however, the possibility of renting bicycles, a practical service for exploring Almería!

The apartment is located in the El Zapillo district, right next to the Zapillo beach.
It’s just 20 minutes from the Cathedral of the Incarnation and Almería’s historic center.
We really enjoyed strolling along the landscaped waterfront.
How to get there
By public transport, from the station or the Alcazaba, you can take the streetcar or bus for a 20-30 minute journey. The Av.Cabo De Gata 166-A streetcar stop is just a 1-minute walk from the apartment.
By cab, it takes just 10 minutes from downtown.
