Family hotels in Malaga
As Malaga is known above all for its vibrant nightlife, the hotels in the city center are geared more towards adult city-breakers and business travelers. Hotels for families are mainly located by the sea. These large resort complexes are designed to offer families every comfort on-site, with swimming pools, kids’ clubs, and a wide variety of activities.
If you want direct access to the beach, we recommend Torremolinos, a seaside town designed exclusively for family tourism. However, for those who prefer to stay in the heart of the city, a number of hotels offer family-friendly solutions in Malaga itself.
Although we haven’t had the chance to try them all yet, here are our favorites so far.
1. Ocean House Costal del Sol Hotel
Why stay there?
We really enjoyed our stay at this resort. It’s just a few steps from the beach and the charming Benalmádena Marina.
In addition to this ideal setting, we appreciated the quality of the services offered for families, such as the swimming pool adapted for the very young and the variety of buffets at the different meals to satisfy the tastes of every child! Last but not least, the various activities on offer will keep your children and teenagers busy, so you can make the most of your time.

If you’re looking for a hotel that’s ideal for families while immersing yourself in a world of art, the Hotel H10 Croma Malaga is an excellent choice. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the hotel offers many child-friendly amenities, such as spacious rooms that can accommodate the whole family and childcare services available upon request.
The roof terrace, with its small heated pool perfectly suited to the little ones and its 360° view over the city, should also appeal to you. Last but not least, there are two excellent restaurants on site, so you can save time and sample local specialities while your children enjoy their special menus.

If you’re looking for family tranquillity in the heart of vibrant Malaga, the Hotel Parador de Málaga Gibralfaro is for you! Located on Mount Gibralfaro, it majestically overlooks the city and offers a breathtaking view of Málaga, its coastline, and the magnificent Gibralfaro Castle.
